​The YellowStripe Dance Co. (YSDC) was founded in 2017 by the dynamic dance duo, Utsav and Kamna, with a shared mission—to spread the joy of dance far and wide. At YSDC, we believe in the unifying power of movement and aim to bring people together from across the globe through the language of dance.
Our vision goes beyond traditional boundaries. We encourage individuals to explore and express themselves through movement, unlocking creativity, confidence, and community along the way.
Our Story
What started as a modest 600 sq. ft. studio has today grown into the YellowStripe Dance Complex—a vibrant, purpose-built space spanning over 3,000 sq. ft. Now home to a thriving community of thousands of students and clients, YSDC
offers a wide range of services including:

Our Clients
Co-Founders & Directors
As the creative heads and driving force behind YSDC, Kamna and Utsav bring their lifelong passion for dance into everything they do. Both are professionally trained dancers from the prestigious Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts, where they also served as instructors for over seven years.
Kamna began her dance journey relatively late—at the age of 23. Before pursuing dance professionally, she built a successful career in PR and event management. However, an “overnight decision” to leave her job, move to Mumbai, and immerse herself into dance, changed the course of her life.
Today, Kamna is recognized as one of the most successful entrepreneurs in India’s dance industry. Her mission has always been to inspire young girls to believe in themselves and show that a fulfilling career in dance is truly possible.
A TEDx speaker, she lives by her personal mantra of the “3Ps”—Passion, Patience, and Perseverance. Over the years, Kamna has evolved into a highly versatile performer, with her strengths in Indo-Contemporary, Jazz, and Semi-Classical styles. In addition to her work in dance, she is also a part-time content creator, fitness enthusiast, and avid reader with a love for sports. For many aspiring dancers, she is a motivational figure and role model. Within YSDC, she is affectionately known as “the Brain”.
Kamna Arora
A passionate dancer since childhood, Utsav was one of the senior-most instructors at the Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts. His expertise spans across various styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, and Contemporary. He has trained internationally at the Urban Dance Camp in Germany and completed the Intermediate Ballet Certification from the Royal Academy of Dance in Sri Lanka. He has also been invited to Finland to teach, perform, and judge at the Indian Dance Festival.
With over 12 years of experience as a teacher and choreographer, Utsav has mastered the art of blending creativity with business acumen to make YSDC a globally recognized brand. Known for his exceptional teaching skills and powerful visual storytelling, he is widely respected as one of the finest
instructors in the industry.
Outside the studio, Utsav is a wildlife enthusiast and a self-professed PS5 fanatic. At YSDC, he is fondly referred to as “the Heart” of the company.

What began as a two-person dream has now evolved into a powerhouse team of 19 dedicated and passionate individuals—welcome to Team YSDC. At YSDC, everything we create is done entirely in-house. From our senior instructors to videographers, audio editors, graphic designers, social media managers, and more—every member plays a vital role in bringing our vision to life. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain creative control, high-quality output, and a deeply personal touch in everything we do. What truly sets Team YSDC apart is the bond we share. We don’t just work together—we grow together. For us, it’s about relationships, not just roles. This tight-knit culture is the heartbeat of our company and the secret behind our seamless collaborations and standout performances.
